FREIGHT
Remember the best way to save money is to order 2 covers shipped to the same
address. Usually the shipping charges for one cover are the same as for two
covers. So ask that neighbor, friend, or coworker, we do this all the time.
Don't forget you can save $18 with a business/commercial address delivery.
We ship by common carrier, they are not "residential friendly" and charge for
delivery to most homes. Names of freight companies will be exposed upon
completion of order since this information is valuable to our competitors
since we have a very low claims rate and competitive pricing with these
freight companies. This is a very hard combination to find.
If a business address is not available, your street is not accessible by
tractor trailer, or you do not want to pay the $18 residential delivery,
you can pick it up at the trucking terminal. Terminals are located in most
major cities.
We were the first on the web as you can tell by the names, SpaCovers.com and
SpaCover.com. We have a long history with these freight companies and they
know to keep the fork lifts away from our product. We average only about 1
damage every 100 shipments. Only one package has been lost in 8 years.
Everyone always asks, "Why don't you use UPS?". We would love to, but they
only take very small packages. The biggest spa cover folded in half they will
take is about 44" x 69".
